By registering with Oncology Care Live, participants submit personal information including name, email address, physical address, and other optional information. This information is used primarily for communicating with program participants and awarding CME credit, which is granted through The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
We may also collect other non-personally identifiable data through the use of technology such as IP address, browser type, and user logs, which are used to monitor and improve the performance of the website itself.
Communication and Information Sharing:
You may receive educational materials from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Oncology Care Live, both before and after events. You may also receive messages from commercial sponsors and exhibitors participating in these events. At any time, you may opt out of receiving these messages by unsubscribing from our e-mail list.
In the exhibit area of each event, visiting a particular booth indicates interest, and your contact information will be shared accordingly to permit follow-up communication.
During and after the event, participants may interact with faculty members, commercial sponsors, and each other through real time chat and message boards. Users control the personal information they disclose, and should understand that information one shares in these areas can be viewed by other participants in the program.
Information About Other People
On some pages, you can submit information about other people. For example, you may be able to provide email addresses of friends who may be interested in Oncology Care Live.
